Replacement Outdoor Cushion Foam

A cushion can look tired because of its cover, its filling or both. Tell Josh whether the seat has flattened, whether corners have lost their shape and whether the back cushions still feel comfortable. Photograph each piece out of the furniture and the complete set in place.

If the covers are being retained, their pattern and condition matter to the new filling. A larger or deeper foam profile may change seam position, piping alignment and how the cushion fits the frame. Agree the intended finished shape rather than ordering from a single compressed measurement.

Outdoor use brings questions about exposure, storage and drying. Discuss how the furniture is used and where the cushions live when not in use. The cover, underside, openings and filling work together; changing foam alone is not a universal solution to moisture problems.

Firmness and density describe different aspects of a foam. Ask about the exact proposed product and the feel you want instead of assuming a higher number always means a more comfortable seat. Existing pieces or an assessment can help agree the profile and support.

Number the cushions and identify their furniture positions. Seats and backs do not necessarily need the same support, and corner pieces may have a different profile. Keep photographs and reference dimensions with the numbered inventory.
