What you share with us, how an enquiry is handled and who to contact.
On the public website, an enquiry is emailed to Josh. A studio preview on this computer still saves enquiries only on that computer.
What you share
An enquiry can include your name, contact details, boat or furniture location, project requirements and optional photographs. Share only information needed to discuss your upholstery project.
Your brief can also include your role, vessel, scope, indicative investment, preferred dates and optional access, approval or publication preferences. These help us understand and coordinate your enquiry.
Fabric shortlists and delivery details
A sample enquiry can include selected fabric references, an optional design preview, your preferred sample route and an optional delivery address. These are used to discuss suitability and arrange an agreed sample request. The shortlist is held in this browser tab for the handover and cleared after a successful submission. No sample order is placed automatically.
Where your enquiry started
We may record the public page from which you opened the form, to understand the service you are interested in. Search query strings are not included in this record. It stays with your enquiry.
How your enquiry is handled
In this local preview
When the form says “Local preview”, submissions and photographs are saved privately on the computer running the preview server, outside the public website folder. They are not emailed to Ocean Breeze. Your reference confirms that local save.
On the public website
The form emails your brief and up to three photographs to Josh at Ocean Breeze. FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) receives the submission so it can forward that email. A confirmation means the forwarder accepted the enquiry. It does not confirm a booking, a visit or a price. Photographs are reduced to smaller JPEG copies in your browser before they are sent. FormSubmit keeps submission text for up to 30 days. Treat photographs in the email as the copy to keep.
The enquiry includes the details you type, the page you started from, and any photographs you choose. It is used to reply to you about the upholstery work. Contact Josh if you want a copy corrected or deleted.
Email links
If direct submission is unavailable, the form can prepare a draft in your own email app. Attach your photographs and send the email yourself. Opening a draft does not submit an enquiry.
Your private project area
When Josh invites you to a private project, its brief, selected material references, photographs and numbered written specifications belong on the separate backend. Your name, specification version and time are recorded when you explicitly approve a version. Approval stays associated with that version.
One-use invitation links expire after 30 minutes. A necessary session cookie keeps your project open for up to eight hours, with expiry after 30 minutes of inactivity. Sign out on shared devices. Uploaded project photographs are re-encoded to remove embedded location metadata. Private project data is excluded from the public website and source-code backups.
Questions about your information
Contact Josh to discuss access, correction or deletion of information held with your enquiry or project. Any retention needed for an ongoing commission or business records is considered when handling your request.
