01Check the furniture before the upholstery+
Show the existing shell, suspension and cushion arrangement. Any structural wear or suspension issue needs appropriate assessment; new cushions do not establish the safety or load capacity of the chair.
02Record the curved seat and back relationship+
Photograph the empty chair and the cushion installed from the front and side. Note where the old pad slips, bunches or leaves a hard edge, and identify whether separate seat and back pieces would handle more easily.
03Agree removable details+
Discuss existing tie locations, cover openings and storage. Curved pieces need a clear orientation so the replacement settles in the intended position rather than being forced into the shell.

No. This service concerns upholstery and comfort. Movement, restraint and suspension belong to the furniture’s design and any relevant structural assessment.
