Marine & Boat Upholstery Portsmouth
From a renewed cockpit to a coordinated interior. Start your Portsmouth project with the boat, its berth and the result you want.
BESPOKE YACHT UPHOLSTERY
THE FEEL / THE FIT / THE FINISH
Bespoke marine upholstery, considered from the first conversation to the final fitting.
Compare fabric, foam, piping and thread together. Confirm the pattern and fixing details before the finished pieces are made.

Colour is only the beginning. Compare the material in the light of your space, then consider the cushion profile and the finish at its edges.

01 / YOUR PROJECT
Port Solent is in the upper reaches of Portsmouth Harbour; other marina locations sit elsewhere around the harbour. Name your precise marina or yard and berth when planning upholstery work. A city name alone does not establish access, collection arrangements or where the yacht will be available for final checks.
If your upholstery forms part of a wider refit, list seating-base changes and agree when their final dimensions will be ready. Introduce the yard or captain contact responsible for access, and distinguish the survey berth from the installation berth if the vessel will move.
Local context: Premier Marinas Port Solent location information ↗. Independent planning reference; no marina affiliation implied.
02 / YOUR PROJECT
Explain what needs improving before selecting the finish: worn covers, tired foam, awkward support or a disconnected colour scheme. Photograph each seating area, the retained upholstery and accessible fixing details. A replacement cover and a rebuilt cushion are different scopes, so identify which pieces need assessment.
Bring the main fabric, piping and border stitching into one specification. Explore Spradling, Sunbrella and Agora around the exact application, then compare physical samples before settling the colour and texture. The material studio helps shortlist a direction; final selection is confirmed with Josh.
03 / YOUR PROJECT
For suitable removable pieces, discuss existing cushions, covers or supplied pattern material before dispatch. Number left/right pairs, show the underside and note openings and fixings. A fixed or complex installation may need physical checks or an onboard assessment instead.
Ocean Breeze does not claim a local workshop or marina partnership here. Visits, travel, collection, manufacture and fitting are individually agreed. Share the desired completion date and the last date the vessel is accessible so the practical sequence can be considered.
PRACTICAL ANSWERS
This is a project-planning guide, not a claim of a local workshop. Discuss suitable courier arrangements or an individually agreed visit with Josh.
Send the exact berth or yard, vessel details, photographs, cushion count and intended timing. Explain which pieces are removable and who can provide access.
Start with photographs. Agree assessment, labels, packing and the return route before arranging collection.
