THE FEEL / THE FIT / THE FINISH

A space that feels like yours.

Bespoke marine upholstery, considered from the first conversation to the final fitting.

Compare fabric, foam, piping and thread together. Confirm the pattern and fixing details before the finished pieces are made.

A CLOSER LOOK / PERSONALLY CONSIDERED

From swatch to seating.

Colour is only the beginning. Compare the material in the light of your space, then consider the cushion profile and the finish at its edges.

  • Material. Confirm the precise collection and feel using physical samples.
  • Construction. Agree the pattern, cushion depth and fastening details.
  • Finish. Bring piping, seams and border stitching into one direction.

YACHT UPHOLSTERY ON THE FRENCH RIVIERA

Connect the consultation with the people aboard.

For a Riviera refit, identify the person who will make the seating accessible and the person who can approve the finish. They may be different people. A captain can coordinate the visit while an owner or designer reviews the material shortlist. Clarifying that relationship keeps samples, measurements and decisions connected.

Antibes and Port Vauban belong in the same regional conversation, while La Ciotat has a dedicated shipyard setting. Tell us whether the vessel is afloat, in a refit facility or preparing to move between ports. Those details are more useful to the project plan than treating every marina name as a separate service.

THE MATERIAL CONVERSATION

Interior and exterior, without losing their character.

A connected scheme need not use the same fabric everywhere. Consider colour relationships between the saloon and aft lounge, with different textures where appropriate. Include photographs of existing joinery, retained furniture and design references so the upholstery can sit comfortably within the wider interior direction.

Explore Spradling, Sunbrella and Agora in the material studio. Product suitability, colour and feel are confirmed against the precise specification and physical samples.

BEFORE THE VISIT

Your French Riviera questions.

Tell us the vessel’s location and schedule. The plan is developed around the actual project, not a fixed destination package.

Can the visit be arranged in Antibes or La Ciotat?

Share the vessel’s exact location and the access contact. The scope, availability, yard permissions and travel plan are discussed before the visit is booked.

What about a yacht moving to Monaco?

Include Monaco and the itinerary in the brief. Monaco is outside the EU; any visit, transport and cross-border arrangements are considered separately rather than assumed to match an EU project.

Can a designer provide the fabric direction?

Yes. Send the design references and intended fabrics with the seating photographs. Josh can discuss construction, application and the practical sample approval process.

YOUR LOCATION / THE FITTING PLAN

Separate the marina visit from yard work.

Give the survey location and the installation location separately if the yacht moves between Antibes, Cannes and La Ciotat. Name the person who authorises contractor access at each stage. Agree which pieces can be removed while other trades work, and which measurements must wait for the seating bases to be complete.
