01Choose where the pattern belongs+
A stripe can be an accent beside plain seat cushions or a larger part of the scheme. Begin with one overall photograph of the furniture and mark the pieces you want patterned so the effect is judged as a whole.
02Agree direction and repeat placement+
Show the front edge and upright direction for each cushion. Adjacent pieces, corners and shaped backs may need individual cutting decisions; do not assume every stripe can continue uninterrupted through every seam.
03Compare all six directions physically+

No. The studio is a visual starting point. A fabric sample and the planned cutting direction must be approved separately.
