01Show what stays beneath the cover+
Photograph the entire sunpad, loose headrests, bolsters and any raised edges. A cover made over one arrangement may not fit another, so record the positions and pieces it is intended to accommodate.
02Discuss support and water shedding+
Large flat areas can need a considered cover shape and support arrangement. Show the existing setup and any places where water gathers; the suitability of the complete cover depends on more than the fabric description.
03Agree accessible attachments+
Identify existing studs, straps or other fixing points and the route used to put the cover on. New drilling or alterations are separate decisions, and an upholstery cover is not automatically suitable for use underway or towing.

Not necessarily. Protective-cover fabric and sitting-surface fabric are selected for different jobs. Confirm the exact product and construction for each.
Can the cover remain fitted while the boat travels?
Do not assume so. The intended use, fastening arrangement and any travel requirement must be assessed and expressly agreed for the actual cover.
