POOLE / TAILORED WITH JOSH

New comfort. The fit your boat deserves.

THE CRAFT / OCEAN BREEZE UPHOLSTERY

The finish is in the details.

Shaped upholstery, controlled seams and considered piping give the seating its character. Explore genuine Ocean Breeze workmanship, then discuss the fabric and construction appropriate for your own boat.

POOLE / REPLACEMENT CUSHION DECISIONS

Replace the right layers. Keep the right details.

The seat face is only part of the brief. Consider what is beneath it, how adjacent pieces meet and what must remain accessible.

01

Keep serviceable filling

A covers-only brief starts with filling that still offers the agreed shape and support. Show the cushion profiles and accessible underside so stretched fabric is not confused with collapsed foam.

02

Rebuild the cushion where needed

Describe dips, hard edges and changes in comfort. Agree filling, depth and cover together so a fresh appearance is supported by a considered construction.

Record the shape and condition
03

Check the returned set aboard

Keep installed photographs and a numbered layout. At handover, place each piece on its intended support and check lockers, hatches and attachments before deciding whether an adjustment is needed.

BEFORE THE FIRST STITCH

The details, answered.

Do you copy the old cover exactly?

An old cover helps describe the piece, but stretching and wear can distort it. Josh will agree whether the existing cushions, measurements, pattern material or an onboard check provide the right reference.

Can you collect cushions without moving the boat?

Yes, suitable removable pieces can be collected from an agreed address. Photograph the arrangement first, number the pieces and agree packing, removal responsibilities and return details with Josh.

Can you make replacement covers using my existing foam?

Existing foam can be assessed for shape, fit and condition. Covers-only work may be appropriate when the support remains sound; collapsed or poorly fitting foam needs a different specification.

Can I choose fabric before requesting a quote?

Use the material studio to shortlist colours and finishes. Physical samples, the exact product and its suitability are confirmed before manufacture. A screen preview is a design aid.

Can you provide patterns or measure aboard?

We can supply pattern material for an agreed template route. An onboard assessment can also be discussed. The method, access, travel and scope are agreed individually.

How long will the upholstery take?

Tell us your intended launch date or refit window. Josh can discuss a programme once the scope, patterns, material availability, collection and fitting are understood. Courier collection and manufacture have separate timescales.
